I was raised on fear and whippings. I chose to raise my kids on love and guidance. Positive reinforcement works and it doesn’t leave scars. Let’s break the cycle for our grandkids. Spanking a child does not teach the child anything. It is a punishment for a known action. Ephesians 6:4 “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” It’s about raising a child with intention, love, and wisdom, not fear or harm. It’s about building up, not breaking down. There are way too many angry children in the world today and adults.
