the "Nyanja/Chewa " spoken in Lusaka is more of a colloquial which includes some words from other languande Nyanja is from Malawi and Chewa Zambia

you stated something sounded like "Kale" that word is naturally used in nyanja Chewa and Senga. notice it also use in bemba as well.
