Yes! I Took out 2 stu loans in sept 2018, paid them off March 2022 😅. Never paid interest w/ sub loans and covid payment pause. Huge privilege.

no! put the money in a mutual fund. you'll make more over the long term than you pay in interest.

I took out some of my 401k money as a loan and paid a few off so I’m just paying myself back now.

Yeah schools/colleges are awful about money. They hated the fact that I paid all 3yrs in cash at the beginning of the year

Just make sure you tell them where to put the overpayment or they will apply it to next months interest

as someone that worked in student loans. I was ecstatic to see when someone paid extra/paid off their student loan. student debt can be crippling!

My fiancé have been sticking money into specific savings accounts so we hold onto our money, but once the pause resumes I’m paying all that money

My student loan was transferred to different companies so many times. It wasn’t until I got transferred over to Nelnet that I was able to easily pay

I really try to not take classes at university if I cannot pay them off. I know that’s very privileged. But I spent all of my high school saving up

Listen. This is why we have our mortgage at a local bank instead. It will never be sold and we can make any payments. Adjusted rate in 2020 too

Yes! I'm still paying extra so that I can get as far ahead as possible. Hoping to fully pay it off by the time interest starts up again!!!

my car loan literally won't let me pay more than 2500 a month so they can get that interest 😪

No, I have the money saved to pay it all off but holding off until the 11th hour to see if they do something. I can put that towards a 🏠downpayment

I pay extra on my mortgage because the interest rate is higher than my student loans and I can still write off student loan interest on my taxes.

Yes, they make it impossible to schedule more than what's due. I have to manually go in and pay more.
