abit of trick, use the head of a spoon nestle it on the crack between the lid and glass and push the spoon so that the lid loosen up from the side.

get a jar opener, it's $6 and will last a lifetime. I recommend the swing-a-way or the oleex jar opener for weak hands.

take a spoon and wedge it in a bottom of the cap until you hear a pop. easiest way to open the jar.

use a rubber and around the lid. Gives you more torque.

depends if your going to use the whole contents of the jar then all you need to do is release pressure in the jar by stabbing a hole in the lid.

wedge a butter in between jar and lid and gently twist or tilt until you hear air release. it should be easy now
