From constant biting to “we can sit on the couch and hang in peace” What we focused on to get this 4.5 month old puppy here in just 2 weeks👇🏻 🐾We got her on a customized, timed nap schedule. If your puppy is a menace when they’re awake, they’re likely not on a nap time schedule that works for them and they’re likely getting overtired or overstimulated. Within minutes of watching her engage with her puppy on video (PS this is the crazy value of online training) I could immediately see where she was getting overtired & created a nap time schedule that wouldn’t make her feel like every moment her puppy was awake was chaos 🐾To stop the biting we focused on getting to the root of it & teaching her what to do INSTEAD. Puppies, from when they are born, nip at their moms and siblings to get attention, fed and groomed. So they come to you thinking biting = attention. So you can redirect all day, but if you're not showing them how else to get your attention and play with you WITHOUT biting, they'll always resort back to what they know & this is likely why your puppy keeps biting, despite you feeling like all you do is redirect them As soon as we made this switch with Lilah, the biting decreased with days 🐾Taught her how to be bored & independent. If you want your puppy to be calm, know how to play on their own, you have to teach them that consistently Your puppy isn't

If you want your puppy to be calm, know how to play on their own, you have to teach them that consistently Your puppy isn't "not interested in toys", they just don't know what to do with themselves The reason my clients see results like: - their puppy biting LESS in just days and 0 biting in 2 weeks - going from never being able to relax to sitting down, watching a show, with their puppy calmly next to them for an hour, with no biting, in 2 weeks, is because of my customized training approach You’re ready for 1:1 customized support in teaching your puppy to stop biting & also training them to be the dog you can be confident & comfortable doing things with (having guests over, going on long walks, taking them to the dog friendly restaurant, etc), my online puppy training program, is the best place for you.
