@ladykn1ght: The Williamson turn is a maneuver used to bring a ship back to a point it previously passed through, often for the purpose of recovering a person fallen overboard at sea. It was named after John Williamson, who used it in 1943 to recover a man who had fallen overboard. Let us know in the comments if you have ever performed this maneuver onboard your ship. ©MarineInsight #SeaSailorShips #SeamanLifestyleApparel #MarineInsight
