I loathe high waisted denim and almost all of Old Navy's in store shorts were super high, I was displeased. Mid rise for life 😄

Another good brand is Rock & Republic Denim Rx pull on shorts. They are a godsend for short waisted, fluffy ladies! No muffin top!!

Mid rise works for me bc it hides the tummy more and makes me less likely to look preg. But I don’t tuck in either, I can’t.

In my opinion, the high rise hits the thinnest part of your waist BUT I’m the same size as you and sitting in high rise shorts/jeans are painfulll😅
