Service dogs come in all sizes and breeds. Some medical alert dogs are tiny and may be carried, including in a sling or carrier.

YES! I used to work a Starbucks. whenever I would hear a bark in the cafe, I'd immediately walk over and be like "this isn't a service dog, bye"

My service dog is large chihuahua/terrier mix & is trained to bark because I’m hearing impaired. Also there’s many ways to train them.

Hearing service animals are usually small to medium breeds. My friends mom was severely HoH and her alert dog was a yorkie.

my SERVICE ANIMAL is a 3 pound yorkie. her walking isnt an option. she's trained in alerting to drops and spikes in my sugar. I do carry her.

I have never heard my guide dog bark ever. My guide also does sniffs food on the ground which is hard for me since I’m blind so idk if he eats it 😂
