in Japan, there's a filter sheet with adhesive that you can stick to the filter and you can just take the sheet of and put a new one on

Mine was like that. Sprayed it with Dawn power wash and let it sit for like 2 minutes ans the sprayed it. Came right out without even scrubbing!

It's better to run these in a dishwasher. The dishwasher detergent is made to break down grease.

I get an aluminum roast pan and soak/clean them in that. Poor the water outside and throw it away so I don’t have grease going down my drain.
