Sounds great until you get out there. Been a hockey official since I was 13. The abuse has gotten out of control.

I did it for a year and really enjoyed it! My life got too busy, so I gave it up. Main reason I refereed, I got tired of watching lazy refs!

Kudos to him for lawyer comment. We are not getting enough white collar officials these days. Not easy to talk about. There should be many paths.
