I got swarmed by bees on this one. Another time my ex got heatstroke like 5 miles in. Have you done strawberry peak? It’s nearby.

Mt. Wilson is t hard just very long but the good part about that tail is there’s lots of shade

Trick is to hike up the Mount Wilson trail a bit, walk back to the car and then drive up. Then say, “I hiked up Mount Wilson and made it to the top!”

Sturtevant Trail is easier to do. Hopefully Sturtevant Camp opens up again so people can have a pit stop halfway from Chantry Flats and Mt Wilson.

It’s different. The starting and ending elevations make a huge difference. Mt. Wilson does gets a lot of mosquitos so bring bug spray y’alls

Gross. Done it twice, regretted it both times. Greeted by switchbacks to get to the top and a mile long incline back to the parking lot.
