Maybe mole skin? Usually people Use them in shoes to prevent blisters but it could work I think you can get some from Walmart for $1.50

I've had mine for at least two years now and they haven't wore down. But I think it's bc I don't have a velcro strap completely outside of my. AFO.

The D|R libe is better for AFOs and KAFOs, as the original designs were for easy access and not AFO use

I know it's 2 years later but maybe soft velcro to attach to it. or take something hot to melt down the scratchy velcro
