Denji’s story is so sad from any point of view you see it from, from having nothing but a close friend(pochita) to lossing said friend but in exchange getting the closest set of people he could call family(power and aki) to then again lossing them one by one to gain the closest thing to a little sister(nayuta) to again lose her as well, him not being more depressed comes to show how much he loved those people to follow their wish for him to keep living
