u should NOT do this by yourselves! take him to the vet they'll give them local anesthesia, removing this suckers is really painfull, poor kitty 🥺

Coulda used gloves. Could’ve brought it to the vet where it would be asleep pain free. Or bring it to a vet so they can give him pain meds at least

This cat should have been taken to the vet to be given sedation or at least anaesthesia so it would not feel pain. I hope it was given antibiotics 🙁

It's not worth the risk of anaesthetic for so few worms. Good tip tho, put vaseline over so the worm surfaces for air. Easier to remove that way

Yes, not fly larva has barbs on them to keep them from slipping out from under the skin as well as moving around. Think of the Grabloids from tremors
