I dump wen I grease up so it won't push all the grease off the fifth wheel especially on heavy loads

Especially with fresh grease dump the air back under part way and then air up so the grease doesn’t get pushed off

I dump them them hooking up and connect. Less strain on the air bags and shocks . Plus that’s how a pro does it .

Unfortunately, most folks don’t know how to drop a trailer so, no, I don’t dump air bags - I’d be way to low

There’s no reason to dump the air before hooking unless the trailer is dropped too low. You’re gonna jump the kingpin if you keep doing that.

I dump if sitting too low. Otherwise, I leave ~2" when I drop and dump bags before pulling out.
