There are a lot of different factors that come into lawn care, but in most cases it can be kept very simple! 💯 1. Mowing: if you let your lawn grow too long and you’re cutting off too much each mow it’ll take a toll on the colour and health of the lawn. Aim to take off no more than 1/3 of the leaf in a single mow, if you can’t mow often then mow taller 📏 2. Watering: during times where it’s hot and/or dry with no rainfall, if you can set out one morning per week to deeply water your lawn you’ll be ahead of most of your street 💦 3. Thatch removal: cutting low with your rotary mower and using a scarifier to dig up thatch every year or two in spring will do wonders for freshening up your lawn for new growth. You don’t have to go full scale Reno like you see myself and others doing every year 💯 4. Programs: having a structured program to control weeds and enhance the health of your lawn is going to keep it green all year round, or pretty bloody close to it. I’ve posted and will continue to share hundreds of tips and my experiences to help others to get outside and enjoy this hobby but if you want a shortcut, go to lawnsingoodnick.com to read through the info and see if my lawn programs will suit you! 💯 you’ll get an annual plan, written explanations, products recommendations + all the other info you need to maintain a lush green lawn 🍃 I also have a full lawn renovation guide on there which covers EVERYTHING you need to know to execute that process on a variety of grass types in Australia 🇦🇺 always love seeing peoples progress in the private Facebook group!! I love this hobby and hopefully with this platform I can continue helping more people have the knowledge to have success and spend more time outside ☀️😍 #lawntok #lawnprograms
