if you put it upside down it is a great environment for bacteria to grow. never store cups upside down xx

The rims usually bigger than the base leaving less space in cupboard and more likey to hit other glasses

If it’s down the lip of the cup is picking up stuff from the shelf. Unless your cleaning your shelves weekly or something which I do not.
