loved most of my mom's hospice nurses. we had one cover for our reg. nurses vacation and he was a blessing. we kept him and let her primary nurse go

Get your loved ones in early. ASK their doctor for a referral. Hospice manages pain so much better than any doctor.

my sister was taking our fathers hospice medication. Once the hospice nurse came in & realized what was happening, she gave him the meds he needed. ❤

I don’t think most people realize hospice criteria is 6 months of life expectancy or less so they only hear about it at the very end of life

The only time I have seen someone sedated at hospice is terminal agitation to the point the patient was suffering and the family as well.
