They kinda did this in here in Toronto and it was catastrophic for the communities near by. They need to be in places with trained staff etc.

I’m liberal but don’t force hotels to fix the homeless problem. If your going to pay fair market, then city should build their own

I still don't understand why tiny home communities for the unhoused is not more common. For even the massive population in CA, 1 billion & housed

A better solution would be the city buying failing hotels and turn them into homeless shelters.

housing the homeless would reduce challenges where I'm at in LA, but I'm not sure it's a good longterm solution for LA.

Let the politicians in CA take them in. They helped create the situation with astronomical rent, taxes and government hand outs.

it would end business and tourist visits to LA. who wants to pay $350+ a night to have a homeless person next door who pays zero

Instead of fixing the issue themselves they’re relying on private business. The city is hopeless.

Hotel workers are not trained healthcare workers and that’s what these people ultimately need. Services the hotels are not prepared to provide

Horrible idea. All hotel staff would quit. Untreated mental illness and psychiatric breakdowns would put others in harmful situations.

Who pays for the cleaning between customers? If the room is free the hotel pays for the back end.

Why wait until 2024, those homeless could be dead by then. They need help today, not in the future. Those who will vote, have a nice cosy place.

Cutting ratecons 📉💀#trucking #truckstop #truckdrivers #truckdriver Follow @carrier_commander What’s the shadiest thing in trucking right now? Rate confirmation cuts. And it’s happening from BOTH sides. A broker sends a ratecon — you agree, you roll — then suddenly, they cut the rate after delivery. Sometimes they blame tracking, missed check calls, or “customer issues.” Sometimes it’s not just brokers. Carriers themselves are cutting the rate from their OWN DRIVERS. Dispatchers pocket the difference. Drivers find out too late. Do you think It’s a dirty game? 🎤 Daily truck stop interviews 🚛 Freight truth with no filters 👊 Respect for every hard-working driver trying to survive this game Follow for raw, real, unfiltered trucking content — every single day. https://www.carriercommand.pro/ Check your MC for free - contact me
