Yes canola oil does have some ALA but that is very very poorly converted to usable EPA and DHA.

Seed oils are ok if u balance them with omega 3, the issue is they’re usually sold in clear plastic which lets light in and makes them go rancid

Linoleic Acid easily oxidizes and the main component of ox-ldl or oxidized-ldl which is the real cause for CHD not total ldl cholesterol.
