My Dad found out he had pancreatic cancer at lunch and died the same night! We thought we had months. He never made it home to hospice.

5 yrs after a pancreatic Ca dx is very generous. Usually 6 mos with chemo, 3 mos without if it’s advanced. Haven’t had a pt yet live more than 1 y🥲

My dad is in his final days of stage 4 and I'm not kidding when I say overnight he went from a functioning brain to being confused and hallucinating. I hope I can look into meds for it

Not only is hospice/dying a taboo subject… PEDIATRIC hospice is even more taboo. People really have a hard time accepting when a child is dying.
