Disagree technically. I just don't remove my mail, so it stays in the inbox, but read. I like to flag messages for later and now i have 8 of them.

I agree with a caveat: set reminders for future actions. worth touching to set the reminder if it keeps you being distracted by it for a few days!

I learned from @jonjon.mp4 how to archive and snooze emails. I never keep more than what I'm working on that day in my inbox. It's absolutely freeing!
