@thesleepconcierge: As soon as your baby starts to roll you need to transition them out of the swaddle into an arms-free sleep sack. This can be an adjustment for some babies. I’ll be honest, it took longer for my baby to adjust than I had expected. Chubby little hands wave about and wake their chubby little owners - the opposite of what we want. The truth is, you just have to be patient with this change. A rolling baby is unsafe with their arms contained. To help this transition, I recommend a @lovetodreamaustralia (LTD) transition swaddle. Underneath the LTD transition sleep sack put your baby in a pyjama/outfit that allows them to have one hand covered in a fold-over mitten. It provides a sense of still being wrapped and stops their wandering hands from distracting, scratching and waking them. Keep the same hand out for a few days and nights and then attempt the second one with both mittens still folded over. Each baby is different and the transition could throw you a curveball, but it needs to be done for safety. Persevere and be consistent and your baby will eventually adjust. #newborn #activesleep #newbornsleep #babysleep #babysleeptips #sleepadvice #naptime #naplife
