the skin is edible and u can eat the guava when it not fully ripe with chili salt

The rind is totally edible and tastes great it was just a different texture that I didn’t like that much

You don’t have to wait for the guabas to be soft, you can eat the other ones already with salt, I recommend

I could tell it was ready just by looking at it! I grew up with guava trees in my back yard back in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

There ripe when the yellow with certain varieties but other are a little yellow but mostly green when ripe 😁
