Our end goal would be to tear it down and build it up higher. On stilts or first floor garage, second floor living area. Depends on insurance, etc

No hate just curious- why do you choose to live there with the constant risk of flooding?

Why not apply for a grant (through FEMA I believe) and have your home lifted?

If the goal is to tear it down, what’s the point of taking off the planks?

I live in Houston, and a lot of people are lifting their home and building the foundation up 6 feet. Is that an option? Sorry you’re going through it

No matter what kind of flooring you use the amount of water in the amount of time it’s still would’ve gone through

Flood insurance program had a house raising program. Suggest looking into it. I tore down; in hindsight raising and rebuilding might have been better

I don’t live by water in a hurricane area but I do live by a forest in a wildfire area. I’d def have to rebuild. Seems that’s your best option too💗
