When I first became homeless due to an unfortunate roommate situation (that has inevitably made it impossible to get approved for a rental) I had to board my animals not knowing if I’d I ever get them back. There was a pain I had never felt before and it ached so bad it was unbearable. They’re my entire world and I had lost them all in one day. I wrote a will and letters to my loved ones just in case. It’s been extremely hard but I’ve just continued to work save money and push through the trying desperate times. My Great Dane I unfortunately had to rehome for her best interest she is with an loving family who cherish her. I was able to get my senior dog back and I visit my 3 cats and 3 ferrets as much as I can. My animals are the reason I wake every morning and keep going despite my situation. One day I will have a place for them to call home. I also believe wholeheartedly you get what you give so while my circumstances are rough I know others have it worse and I’m grateful to help when and where I can because I know what it’s like to struggle and feel alone. I hope to inspire others to help in their communities we really need each other rn 🫶🫶
