So actually I have something. Advertisers purposely make the volume louder. There is regulation around the volume of commercials on regular tv.

Lol when I was a kid they designed the commercials to be loud bc ppl would get up from the tv to go to the bathroom, grab a drink, change the laundry they wanted to be sure you heard the ads then when it was quiet someone would holler hurry it’s back on 🏃♀️
