🌊 Awareness Message for Tourists Visiting Huatulco 🌊 After several years of experience as a professional tour guide, I’ve learned that nature — though beautiful — can also be unpredictable. 💙 From November to March, on our Huatulco coasts, a natural phenomenon called “rebalace” or “swell” (mar de fondo) sometimes occurs, bringing stronger waves, unexpected currents, and sudden changes in sea conditions. 🌬️🌊 For this reason, I don’t recommend swimming or getting too close to certain beaches during these days, even if the ocean looks calm. This isn’t about limiting fun — it’s about protecting your safety and that of your loved ones. ⚠️ 👉 It’s also very important to always follow the lifeguards’ instructions and avoid excessive alcohol consumption before entering the ocean. The water may seem harmless, but under the effects of alcohol, your body reacts slower and the risk increases significantly. 🚫🍹 In addition, it’s important to know that we, certified tour guides, have a professional and legal commitment to stay constantly trained: ✅ We take first aid courses every 2 years. ✅ We complete 40 hours of professional training and annual updates required by the Government of Mexico, which grants us the official license to practice as professional guides. 🇲🇽 This effort ensures safety, knowledge, and quality for every visitor. That’s why our prices aren’t the cheapest, but they reflect the true value of a professional, safe, and responsible service — the kind of service you and your family truly deserve. 🙌 If you, like me, love the sea and nature, show it by respecting their rhythms, their signs, and the work of those who care for you. 🌿 💙 Enjoy Huatulco with awareness, caution, and respect for the ocean. #ResponsibleTourism #SafeHuatulco #LoveForTheSea #ManiGonzalezAdventures #CertifiedGuide
