Creating a safe space to nurture yourself during your menstrual phase. 🫂 🙇🏽‍♀️ I’ve always been frustrated by how society’s stigma around periods makes women feel like they have to downplay the pain or discomfort, as if pushing through is the only option. You have nothing to prove to anyone, and you don’t owe anyone anything. Your body is speaking to you—it’s asking for rest, care, and compassion. It’s time to listen. A few ways I honor my cycle: 🛁 Epsom Salt Baths 🏮 Red Light Therapy 🧘🏾‍♀️ Light Walks, Gentle Movement & Stretching 💦 Stay Hydrated For me, honoring my cycle looks like going on a 2 to 3-mile light walk to help with my energy and mood without overwhelming my body. I’ve also recently started using my new red infrared light lamp, and I absolutely love it. I now incorporate it into my routine with simple body stretches to help soothe cramps, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation. One thing I do, no matter where I’m at in my cycle, is drink at least 50 ounces of water daily—it helps with bloating, cramps, and keeps me feeling balanced. And of course, lots and lots of Epsom salt baths for total relaxation 😊 Remember, always listen to your body—this is what works for me, but your body might need something different. Also, be kind to yourself—this is your time to slow down and honor your body’s needs. 💕 #MenstrualSelfCare #RedLightTherapy #PeriodWellness #NurtureYourCycle #SelfLoveJourney #BlackWomenWellness #CycleSyncing #PeriodPositivity #PeriodCare #SelfCareForBlackWomen #BlackAndWell #HealthyCycles #WellnessJourney #HolisticHealing #Healing #MindfulSelfCare #SelfCare #HonoringYourBody #BlackWellness #DestigmatizeTheFlow
