fill up the 5L and 3L in half. So we have 2.5L@ and 1.5L respectively. Then add the 1.5 to 2.5 in 5L, then we have 4. then fill the 3L in full.

The second solution : (p1) fill the 5L, then put it to 3L which results in 2 litres remaining in 5L. Empty the 3L and then move the 2 litres to 3L....

there are 2 ways, actually: 1st (and fastest) fill the 3l and transfer to the 5l, then repeat and you'll have 1 litre left in the 3l cube

Option 2 is to fill the 5L and then transfer the liquid in it to 3L. This means you currently have 2 liters in the 5L bucket. Now you empty the 3L

I did it some long way but fill up the 5 L bucket and put it into the 3L bucket. So you have 2L in the 5L bucket. Then throw away the 3L bucket water.
