@iricksnacks: Say “YES” if you’ve ever given up on eating healthy 😅 Here are two great ways to stop giving up! 1. Don’t label food as good or bad! While junk food is easy to over-eat & bad for your health, it doesn’t mean healthy people NEVER enjoy it! And the more forbidden you make it, the more likely it is to send you into a month long downward spiral after eating a harmless amount! 2. Be prepared at social gatherings!! Aside from the handful of times per year where I do relax and eat some carbs I try to go as prepared as possible to all other social gatherings. This can look like: - Bringing pork rinds to avoid tortilla chips - Knowing what drinks to order that have have zero or very little sugar - Being realistic about how often you are going to go off plan Being realistic about how often you tend to slip up can help you plan accordingly! Because if I expect to eat the piece of pizza, I’m much less likely to feel guilty & go eat a box of twinkies to make myself feel better! And if you’re struggling to stay on track at all, just be gentle with yourself and remember that getting healthy is a LONG process and every little step forward matters ❤️ YOU GOT THIS! I LOVE YOU!
