![A year ago today, I reverted to Islam thinking it would be a small part of my life, a private thing I could separate out with my other pursuits - but this couldn't be further from the truth. All my different pursuits became one single journey and indeed my Islam is the thing that kept me guided throughout it all. If I look back the most my most special moments were all rooted in the deen and I really think my first year as a Muslim has been so significant, for my growth in all aspects of my life.
