INGREDIENTS 400 gr beef shank, cut into bite size 1 onion, sliced 1 clove garlic, minced 20gr butter 1/2 tsp caraway seeds 2 tbsp paprika powder 1 tbsp tomato paste 1L water 2 tsp beef stock powder (dissolve in the 1L water) 2 potatoes (1 whole, 1 cut in chunks) 1 carrot, cut in chunks Salt n pepper 1,5 tbsp sour cream HOW TO COOK 1. Heat oil in sauce pot, seared the beef in high heat until brown then take it out. 2. In the same sauce pot melt butter, saute onion and garlic until caramelized. 3. Add in the seared beef, caraway seeds, paprika powder, and tomato paste. Stir well until combined. 4. Add the beef stock water, bring to boil, then cover with lid. Bring the heat back to medium low and simmer for at least 2 hours. 5. About 30 mins before the stew is done add the potatoes and carrots, then cover with lid again. 6. Season with salt and pepper, and last add the sour cream, mix well. 7.
