@jaleinabania: ‼️PLS READ, but may be an uncomfy topic‼️ First off— pls know that virginity doesn’t equal purity. 1 Samuel 16:7 says that “God looks at the heart….” but we shouldn’t use that as an excuse to sleep around though, you know? If you are someone who’s a virgin because you’ve given that part of your life to God, I’m so proud of you!😊 If you’re someone who’s no longer a virgin but would like to start over and dedicate yourself to God and be celibate—today is the best day to begin! And I’m so proud of you!😊 He has given us the gift of grace aka second chance! (But of course, let’s not take advantage of it!🙏🏼) I know that in this “hook up” culture, being a virgin is considered lame, and I’ve gotten asked before, “Don’t you feel like you’re missing out?” And to be honest—I really don’t feel like I am, but it’s only because God makes sure that I feel complete without it because it’s not time for that for me yet. Everyday, He makes sure that my heart is FULL to the brim with His love, joy, and peace that only HE can offer. Whether I’m on a mountain top or going through a tough season, I don’t feel ever lonely. I don’t ever feel like I’m missing out on things that this world considers as a source of “happiness” because I have my fount of ✨JOY✨☺️ We shouldn’t let society tell us who we’re supposed to be, what we’re supposed to do, and when we’re supposed to do it. We are to trust in the One Who knows us BEST (because He created us!😊) Ecclesiastes says that there’s a time for everything, and so He’s got certain things for us in His perfect timing.
