@jounicornmamacoach: Well Mama, save this reel so you know that for the majority of human history, people ate one or two meals per day. It was only by the late 18th century that people started eating 3 meals. Why is that important Mama? Because your kid is following THEIR body and hunger cues. If you are stressed about them eating, you will be more likely to try to offer them something different in order for them to eat. Those foods are normally full of refined sugars and very little nutrition. Which creates an addiction loop: they want more of those foods INSTEAD: Trust they will eat when they are hungry, focus on fruits, veggies, meats, nuts and seeds (AS long as your baby is following their growth curve they are eating enough Mama!) If you push them to eat, offer other foods and find ways for them to eat even when they clearly are not hungry, you are teaching them to ignore their body signals and overrun what their body is telling them, which will lead into overeating, and an un-healthy relationship with food later in life INSTEAD: Reinforce in them that they always can and should listen to their body and their inner wisdom SO next time your kid doesn’t want to eat a meal with you, instead of getting stressed, smile and know that you are doing a GREAT JOB by honoring their little bodies messages! #newmother #momguilt #realmoms #simplymamahood #lifeasmama #momstruggles #mommyproblems #realmotherhood #momlifebelike #toddlermom #toddlerlife #toddlersoftiktok #toddlermomlife
