u need the right brush tutorials and also years of practice, it takes time to get used to a new medium

i totally understand!!!! i have the same struggle. my theory is it has to do with the feel of paper, like the traction and grip of the page to pencil

Digital art can take a while to get used to, I'd maybe try a brush that reminds you of drawing traditional, just so you can acclimate
