Do not use landscaping fabric please 🙏 I’ve been doing natural landscaping. Use three to four layers of cardboard. Then mulch it. Pull back mulch

You don’t need landscaping fabric when you use mulch. You only need it with rocks. Fabric with mulch prevents the plants from getting the nutrition.

good job, but next time lay the fabric down first THEN cut an x where you want the plants then put mulch down and then water.

Odd question, have you dealt with having only furring strips and not actual studs, meaning you hit the concrete when screwing cabinets in?

I use black plastic bags or cardboard. best 2 for sure. If you use cardboard you have to wet it pretty good before you throw anything to it.
