The ideal motor for daily use has been solved next would be a cheaper, reliable, longer range and lightweight battery should be next. Toyota right now invest heavily on solid state.200-300hp motor is more than enough.

When the ICE fuel tank is half empty, it's hauling Less weight. When ev battery is half charge car still hauls the same weight. that's the difference
