As a Flight Attendant… this is why we say please sit when the seatbelt sign is on and buckle up when sitting. Clear air turbulence is a thing ❤️

Turbulence is just a part of flying. 99.999% of the time turbulence is nothing to worry about. Much safer than driving past a semi truck for example.
