So I took the 3/12 and made it 1/4 then 2/8, then made the 2/4 - 4/8. Got 7 7/8

Well first you have to make all the bottom the same so you times that and add up the top

So 2/12, 1/8, and 2/4 should translate to 4/24,3/24, and 12/24 4+3+12 is 19/24 and 3+2+2 is 7 so 7 19/24
