You guys asked me how can I devout the time and attention to each child while raising 8 kids, while also caring for myself. The answer is I cant do it by myself but with God all things are possible. Hes given me amazing family, friends, and a husband who help support me and empowered me with the wisdom and energy it takes to raise a large family. One thing I love is that each of my children has there own Mommy Day. On that day we start of by getting to sit in the front seat of the car next to me while I drive them to school. After school they are greated with a surprise seat full of goodies in the front seat. I drop the other kids at home then go back out again with the single child and do something normal and something fun for about 2-3 hours. That could be a Target shopping trip then going for boba. It could be filling up gas, going to the playground, then grabbing kale and their favorite ice cream for dinner. Or my favorite activity for my son is spedning an hr at the library picking out new books for the week then getting a bag full of candy from out local candy store. My husband does something similar his activites alays involve them getting driven around in his 2 seater porshe. We find lots of other creative ways to spend quality time with our children. Ill invite 1 child on my walk with me ot just take 2 kids to the beach. As for mommy time, I wake up around 5am nowadays and take long morning walks 1.5 hrs by myself to start the day off talking with God (or my sister on the phone) and setting my own positive intentions for the day. This helps keep me grounded and fueled up enough to get me through my day.
