I have my kid ask his teachers what their allergies are .. bc I make a full on gift basket of homemade goodies.. one year I put visa gift cards in it.

I have taken to asking the teachers which gc suits their classroom needs. Then we give Tims gc to custodian teams and the bus driver.

single large present. parents are really grateful because I've taken the project on they don't have to think about anything, and even in my low-income neighborhood, with a month of notice most families can scrape together 20 to $25
