They closed the ED in Ennis and Nenagh yrs ago and have everyone travelling to UHL. 1 hospital can't serve so many counties, it's ridiculous.

Lads this is simple! Fine Gael destroyed the public service sector wages and pensions in 2013 and now as a result nobody wants to be a nurse/paramedic/guard/firefighter etc. when’s they fix that they will get the staff they need

there's no bed shortage. hospital admin is just highly inefficient. It takes a whole day to get discharged for some of the most simplest cases which hold up a bed.
