Me (German) and my boss (British) were queuing for the subway in Tokyo talking to ech other in English. Our queue kept getting smaller and smaller.

Maybe I got really lucky but I only had one person rude to me in Japan, but I was only there two weeks as well. Everyone was actually super helpful
