Outfield drop step drill. As the athlete is about to land, throw the ball in either to the right or the left. This works on the drop step and reacting quickly. I am forcing her to jump forward because I want to overemphasize the deep drop step. Because she had to jump forward over cones, it forces her to take a deeper drop step, avoiding the cones as she’s going back. #softball #baseball #outfield #outfielder
