Long story short, she wanted to make it clear its my job to feed the homeless. He was trying to say thank you to those who donate but she kept cutting him off to say she will never say thank you to anyone until they get her into housing and feed her healthy food, even though she devoured the meal I gave her before she decided to interrupt us!
