There was a teenager in 1980 that got stuck outside in the snow after her car hit a ditch while she was heading to her friends house she was drunk and tried to walk the few miles to her friends house but ended up passing out in her friends porch From the cold she was frozen solid for 6 hours but doctors were able to warm her up and revive her. People speculate it was due to the large amount of alcohol in her system but that’s one of the only cases of someone being frozen solid and still survived

The alcohol did bring blood to his extremities which did help prevent frostbite while keeping him calm and at full strength when he needed to be.
