Since my husband’s birthday is the first week of December, I like to make his birthday week special, starting with his advent calendar. I usually make his chocolate bonbons, but this year I decided to make all of it! The house is made of gingerbread, but since molasses is so expensive here, I decided to make it with honey and maple syrup instead, and I can’t even explain how delicious it smelled when baking☺️ I think I’ll make it with honey and maple syrup always now! The bonbons are chocolate covered marzipan, passion fruit ganache, and white chocolate pistachio ganache.
