I think a lot of people that have experienced loss say and feel this, coming from someone that has ❤️I’d talk to your friends that have miscarried.

It’s because people constantly ask if you prefer a boy or a girl and especially after loss, it really doesn’t matter, you just want a healthy baby.

The point is no one says “wow I really hope it’s a medically complex baby” obv you still love it. But its not wrong to say “I hope my baby is healthy”

There’s a lady in my due date group who transferred abnormal embryos SPECIFICALLY because they were girls. 🥲 she also only did ivf to get a girl. -

i hated that! my boy wasnt healthy he was in the nicu for 2 weeks (fine now).. like i love him sick and all 🤣 and apparently its "all that matters"
