The other thing you missed is that asking if you're hungry is a social cue that supposed to tell you they're hungry and want food

I had to learn that “on average humans should eat every 4-6 hours on a slow day” and that’s how I based my timing for meals cuz I’m never “hungry”

You have to use your pattern recognition to solve this one. ie I know if i don't eat 2 hrs after waking I feel sick so i have to eat in that time.
